Out of the Cold Meal Program

No one should go to bed hungry. Through our Out of the Cold Meal Program, Affectionate Hands provides nutritious, hot meals to individuals experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, or poverty in Toronto and surrounding communities. Last year alone, we prepared and served over 1,300 meals—making this one of the city’s most impactful free meal initiatives. Every plate we serve is a gesture of compassion, offering not just food, but dignity, comfort, and human connection.

This program is powered by our dedicated volunteers, community donors, and kind-hearted partners who believe that everyone deserves access to a warm meal—especially during cold, challenging seasons.
