Affectionate Hands is offering Hair Breathing Classes, a unique wellness experience designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and self-care through specialized breathing techniques. These sessions focus on stress relief, emotional balance, and improved overall wellbeing, teaching participants guided breathing exercises for relaxation and inner peace, techniques to release tension and reduce stress naturally, and mindfulness practices for emotional clarity and focus—all within a supportive, community-centered environment. More than just breathing exercises, these classes provide a space for renewal, empowerment, and connection, helping participants achieve personal healing, better focus, and healthier ways to manage daily stress.
Affectionate Hands successfully hosted the Together Safety Brampton Workshop, a community-driven initiative designed to empower residents with practical tools and knowledge on safety awareness, personal security, and community support systems. The workshop featured training on personal and home safety best practices, interactive discussions with local law enforcement and community leaders, breakout sessions on mental health, crisis response, and support resources, as well as networking opportunities for families and individuals in Brampton. Bringing together diverse members of the community, the event strengthened trust, awareness, and collective responsibility for building a safer city.
