At Affectionate Hands, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a productive and independent life—regardless of their background or challenges. Our Skill Acquisition Program is specifically designed to empower individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges, as well as disadvantaged youth, by equipping them with practical, hands-on skills that foster self-reliance, confidence, and long-term stability. Through structured workshops and one-on-one mentoring, participants are trained in areas such as tailoring, catering, handcrafts, digital literacy, and personal care. This program not only prepares them for the workforce or entrepreneurship—it also helps them reintegrate into society with pride and purpose.
